Svoboda Sugar Factory produces, stores and sells granulated sugar and pressed sugar cubes for wholesale and retail customers, and also manufactures sugar beet pulp pellets. Its processing capacity amounts to 7,000 tonnes of sugar beet per day, placing it among Russia’s 15 largest sugar factories. Since 2007, total investments in the modernisation of the factory have exceeded RUB 1.9 billion.
In 2021–2024, as a result of modernisation, the factory’s processing capacity was increased to 7,200 tonnes of sugar beet per day. Production of sugar beet pulp pellets reached 41,650 tonnes.
In 2024, Svoboda Sugar Factory processed 785,893 tonnes of sugar beet with an average sugar content of 16.36%. As a result, in 2024 the factory produced over 91,000 tonnes of sugar, more than 32,000 tonnes of sugar beet pulp pellets, and over 35,000 tonnes of molasses.

The processing capacity of Svoboda Sugar Factory was aligned with the amount of sugar beet produced in the beet-growing area which enabled raw materials to be fully processed within 100–110 days.
Since 2007, through ongoing modernisation and process automation, the factory’s processing capacity has increased by 60%, from 3,600 to 7,000 tonnes of sugar beet per day.
The factory won the Best Sugar Factory of the Customs Union 2011 award. It received the Russian Association of Sugar Producers award for its high average daily production efficiency and low fuel and limestone consumption per unit in 2014–2015. Apart from that, Svoboda was named the Best Sugar Factory of Russia 2016 in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts for its outstanding production performance.
The factory won second prize in the Best Sugar Factory of Russia 2022 competition in the same districts, and it took third place in that category in 2023. In 2023, sugar cubes made of grade 2 white sugar produced by the factory were included among the 100 Best Products of Russia.
In 2018, the product range was expanded with the installation of a sugar packaging line for 5 kg and 10 kg bags. The workshop employs 500 people.
In the 2024 production season, Svoboda Sugar Factory launched a new product — molassed beet pulp shreds.
