Yuzhny Meat Processing Plant LLC, part of Progress Agro, was commissioned in 2015.
The plant is equipped with machinery from Bertsch-Laska (Austria), a leading supplier to the food industry. The plant’s production line was developed by leading Russian and European design bureaus, Falkenstein and Libner.
The company plans to expand into further processing (a sausage production workshop) and processing of slaughterhouse by-products using low-waste technologies, enabling maximum extraction of valuable raw material components and converting them into useful products, thereby increasing overall profitability.
- The plant benefits from a secure raw-material supply — 70% of the raw materials are supplied by the company’s own pig farms, helping ensure a stable livestock supply.
- Investments in the project have exceeded RUB 1.5 billion.

The meat processing plant, with an annual meat-processing capacity of 12,000 tonnes, produces around 600 kinds of products under the Moya Stanitsa brand. The product range includes commercial half-carcasses and quarters, boneless and bone-in meat cuts, marinated meat products, sausages, grilling sausages, and smoked meats.
The combined slaughter line can process 37 tonnes of bone-in meat per 8-hour shift — equivalent to 500 pigs or 120 head of cattle. Cold storage capacity totals 75 tonnes of chilled products and 250 tonnes of frozen products.
